The uPick’em Squares application is designed using a state of the art, modern, scalable Cloud architecture.

uPick’em Football actually has a long history dating back to 1996 when the first version was written in DHTML and Perl. The application was rewritten in various versions of Enterprise Java in 1999, 2002, and 2007. Finally, the application was again rewritten in 2012 using the Spring Framework, mobile technology, including iOS and Android, and deployed to the OpenShift Cloud. The OpenShift Cloud includes a QA environment, Production environment, and supports a full CI/CD pipeline.

The uPick’em Platform can be easily extended to support other sports besides pro football. The uPick’em Platform can be licensed as an SDK to add other sports or can be used to integrate your own custom front end client application.
