.NET Lab Requirements

Welcome to the online Web Application Design Microsoft .NET hands-on programming labs.


In order to start the lab classes please make sure you complete the following activities:

  1. • Install Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Professional or Visual Studio Express. A link to Microsoft Visual Studio Express can be found in .NET Resources in the Help pages.
  2. • Review the Web Application 101 Design course materials.
  3. • Review the .NET MVC 2 online tutorial.
  4. • Create a default MVC 2 Application. Do not create a MVC 3 Application. Use a Solution name of MvcApplication1 and a namespace of MvcApplication1.
