Web Application Design Class

Welcome to the online Web Application Design class.


This Web Application Design class will teach you the sound fundamental principles of designing a modern, scalable, and extendable web application using platform neutral concepts. You will then have the choice to complete hands-on programming labs in either the Microsoft .NET platform or the Enterprise Java platform. This online class allows you to access the online labs that are a companion to the face-to-face instructional class. Also available online are the course materials for the face-to-face instructional class. If you did not attend the classroom lectures or want to review the lectures go to the classroom. If you want to complete the hands-on programming go to the lab.

To navigate this online class use the menu bar at the top of the page. Use the following as a guide when accessing this class:


  1. To access the Web Application Design class materials select the Classroom menu link. Within the classroom pages you can view video’s of the classroom materials, download the curriculum for offline viewing, download the UML model files used in the class and labs, and download the lab project files.
  2. To access the Web Application Design class labs select the Lab menu. Within the lab pages you can access four hands-on programming labs.
  3. To get help or assistance with the Web Application Design class select the Help menu. Within the help pages you can get access to frequently asked questions and obtain contact information for assistance with any of the lab classes.
